Dolores P. McFarland

Dolores P. McFarland, 75, of Kresgeville PA, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 30th at Lehigh Valley Hospital.  She was the wife of the late James W. McFarland who passed away in 2013.  Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Victor M. and Elsie M. (Flyte) Uhler.  Dolores was self-employed, working for many years for Home Interiors, which was her passion.  Before moving to Kresgeville, she had resided with James in Bethlehem.   She was of the Protestant faith and loved to interior decorate and also camping with James. 

Surviving is a son George Reccek IV of Bethlehem, a sister Sandra Walck-McGowan of Ashfield, Grandchildren George Reccek V, Nicholas Reccek and Zachary Reccek, Great Granddaughter Ariana, stepsons Rex McFarland and wife Wanda of Lansford, John McFarland of Eugene OR, a stepdaughter Diane, wife of Anthony Gabrielle of Freeland PA, Stepgrandchildren Dezyrai McFarland and Anthony II and Zachary Gabrielle.  She was pre-deceased by a sister Eleanor Uhler, half-brothers Victor and Harvey Uhler and half-sisters Anna Werkeiser, Perma Uhler, Clara Christman and Violet Frey. 

Services will be held on Saturday, November 4th at 11:00 a.m. from the Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, 4th & Iron Streets, Lehighton PA, with the Rev. Dennis Schappell Officiating.  Interment will be at Gnaden Huetten Cemetery in Lehighton.  Calling hours will be held on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Ovsak Funeral Home.
