Michelina V. Eremus, 90, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 9th in her residence. She was the wife of the late Thomas Eremus, who passed away in 1988. Born in Nesquehoning, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Virginia (Bruni) Damiano. She had worked as a trimmer/inspector for the former Tami Manufacturing Co. in Nesquehoning. She was of the Roman Catholic Faith and was a former member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, now the Shrine of St. Therese of Lisieux, in Nesquehoning.
Surviving is a daughter Maria Lynn, wife of John J. Swankoski of Bethlehem, brothers Baptist Damiano and companion Rose of Ocean View DE, Anthony Damiano and wife Marion of Nesquehoning, sisters Philomena Gogal, Josephine Oliveria and Virginia Mele, all of Nesquehoning, and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Joseph Damiano.
Services will be private, with Rev. Allen Hoffa Officiating. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Nesquehoning PA. Online condolences can be expressed at www.nalesnikfh.com.
