Barbara Minnick Wyatt died February 4, 2025, where her life began in Nesquehoning, PA. She spent the last months of her life looking up at her favorite mountain.  After graduating from Nesquehoning H.S., Barb attended and graduated from Dickinson College, later obtaining her Masters in Reading from Glassboro University in NJ.  Barb lived her vocational years in Medford Lakes, NJ, educating students from elementary to high school. She embraced her retirement years, initially at Lake Harmony, PA, followed by over 20 years in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Barb spent much of her life traveling the world; extending over 3 continents. Her passion for the D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution) led her to serve as Regent. Barb was also entrenched in decorative painting. She loved to play bridge and took up Mahjong while in Myrtle Beach. She enjoyed watching tennis, football and golf. She had a good eye for up-and-coming tennis players. She enjoyed daily walks with friends and seeing Broadway shows. Over the years, Barb shared her love of travel with her grandchildren.

Barb was preceded by her parents, John Minnick and Sara Taney; brother, Danny Minnick; husband, William Wyatt; and many dear elementary and college friends/travel buddies. She has two living children, Bob Wyatt, and his boys Michael and William, and Cindy Wyatt, and her girls Victoria and Cheyenne.

A graveside service for Barbara will be held on July 19th at 10:30 a.m. at Sky-View Memorial Park, Route 54 in Hometown PA.

Services and arrangements have been placed in the care of the Bruce A. Nalesnik Funeral Home, Nesquehoning PA.
