Carla R. Theisen, born on August 31, 1964, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, passed away suddenly on April 28, 2026, in Coaldale, Pennsylvania. Her unexpected departure has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew her, and she will be dearly missed for her enduring spirit and the lasting presence she held in the lives of family and friends.

Carla was an outdoor enthusiast who found joy and solace in nature’s embrace. She cherished camping trips and fishing excursions, appreciating the peace and simplicity that the natural world generously offered. These pursuits were not only hobbies but a reflection of her spirit—grounded, adventurous, and deeply connected to the environment around her.

She was the daughter of the late Judith (Wenzel) Theisen, and is survived by a brother and sister.

A Celebration of Life to honor Carla’s memory will be held at the Bruce A. Nalesnik Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 57 W Center St, Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania, on May 14, 2026. The service will commence at 7:00 PM, Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Carla's  life during a visitation at the Funeral Home from 6:00-7:00 p.m.  This gathering offers an opportunity for all who cherished Carla to come together, reflect, and share in the stories of a life well-lived.
