Casimer P. "Casey" Yelito, 87, of 71 Park Ave, Nesquehoning PA, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Eleanor (Sobolewski) Yelito, who passed away in 2009.

Born in Lansford PA, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Stefanik) Yelito.  "Casey" worked as an auto mechanic for Kovatch Corporation for over 50 years before retiring. "Casey" enjoyed camping in his younger years, working on cars, walking miles a day with his dog, attending the Senior Center in Nesquehoning for Lunches and loved his grandchildren immensely.  He was of the Roman Catholic Faith and was a member of ST Joseph's Church of Panther Valley in Summit Hill and was a member of the former ST. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Nesquehoning.  Surviving is a son Casimer J., with whom he resided, a sister Jenny, wife of John Terefinko of Bethlehem PA and Granddaughters Blythe L. and Celene R. Yelito, both of Nesquehoning.  He was pre-deceased by a son Joseph F., brothers John and Stanley and a sister Helen Kovatch.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 25th at 12:30 p.m. from the Bruce A. Nalesnik Funeral Home, 57 West Center St. Nesquehoning, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. from ST. Joseph's Church of Panther Valley in Summit Hill with Rev. Stephen Halabura Officiating. .  Interment will be at Sky-View Memorial Park in Hometown PA. Calling hours will be held on Friday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30.p.m. at the Funeral Home.
