Dolores M. Romanek, 76, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 8th at Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown, PA.   Born in Hazleton PA, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Veronica (Butchko) Eslieb.  She was a lifelong member of the community and worked as a seamstress at several area garment factories, followed by working as a CNA for over 20 years.  Dolores was of the Byzantine Catholic Faith and was a member of ST. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church of Nesquehoning, and was a former member of the Hauto Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.  Dolores was a dedicated caregiver and later in life enjoyed going to the casino, loved her granddaughter Amanda and her "granddogs" Barnie and Reggie.   Surviving is a daughter Marian, wife of John Panasuik of Riegelsville PA, a brother Amos and wife Anne Eslieb of Bethlehem PA, and a granddaughter Amanda.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 11th at 10:30 a.m. from the Bruce A. Nalesnik Funeral Home, 57 West Center St., Nesquehoning PA, followed by a Divine Liturgy at 11:00 a.m. at ST. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, 141 West High St. Nesquehoning PA,  with the Rev. Dr. Vasyl Chepelskyy Officiating.  Interment will be private.  A calling hour will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m.  Contributions may be made to ST. Luke's Hospice c/o the Funeral Home.
