Genevieve R. Rhyder, 88, formerly of Nesquehoning, and presently a resident at Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center entered into eternal rest at Blue Mountain Health Systems, Gnaden Huetten Campus on Monday, March 14, 2016.   She was the wife of the late Vincent Rhyder, who had died in 1986.  Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Alex and Angelina (Digiglio) Oliveria.  After marrying Vincent, she then moved to Edison NJ and lived there during their working years. She then moved back to Nesquehoning and lived there for over 20 years.   She was of the catholic faith.  Surviving is a son Don and wife Isabel Rhyder of Edison NJ, a daughter Carolyn, wife of Kevin Long of Lehighton, Granddaughters Crystal, wife of Michael Snyder, Tiffany, wife of Shaun Lynch, Heather wife of Brett Smith, Great Grandchildren Christian Snyder and Bentley Smith.  She was pre-deceased by brothers Samuel Oliveria and Angelo Oliveria and a sister Eleanor Corraggio.
