Obituary

James P. Fahr, 80, of Nazareth, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 16th in Nazareth. He was the husband of the late Virginia L. (Keltz) Fahr, who had died in 2024.  Born in Alpha, New Jersey, he was the son of the late James and Helen (Penyak) Fahr.  He worked as a Union Electrician for I.B.E.W Local 208.  James had been drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War and served a tour of duty in Vietnam.  Upon completion of his enlistment, he re-enlisted and served another tour of duty in Vietnam.  James enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf, and was an active presence in his community.  He is survived by a daughter Tracy L. Spencer of NJ, and a sister Patricia Bucsi and husband William of Palmer Twp. PA.  He was predeceased by a sister Brenda Fahr Acker and a son-in-law William A. Spencer. 

Graveside services for James will be held on Wednesday, August 26th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery in Nesquehoning PA, 18240, with the Rev. Vasyl Chepelskyy officiating.  Online condolences and remembrances of James may be expressed at www.nalesnikfh.com.  Services and arrangements have been placed in the care of the Bruce A. Nalesnik Funeral Home, 57 West Center St., Nesquehoning PA  18240.
