Jane C. Koomar, 101, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 3rd at MapleShade Meadows Senior Living in Nesquehoning PA.  She was the widow of the late Vince J. Koomar.  Born in Nesquehoning, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Greco) Collura.

Jane worked for the United States Postal System for many years in the Nesquehoning Branch and was a former supervisor and acting postmaster.  She was of the Roman Catholic faith and was a member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley in Summit Hill and prior to that was a former member of the former St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Nesquehoning.

Surviving is a brother Salvatore Collura and wife Rita of Titusville FL, and many beloved nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by brothers Jasper and Joseph Collura and by sisters Anna Collura Fiorentino and Mary Collura Tanzola.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley with the Rev. Allen Hoffa officiating.  Interment will be at Sky-View Memorial Park in Tamaqua PA. The Mass of Christina Burial will be available for viewing on the Bruce A.
