Margaret M. Petrucci, 91, of Cherry Hill NJ, formerly of the New Columbus section of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest on Monday at JFK Memorial Hospital in Cherry Hill NJ. She was the wife of the late Matthew Petrucci, who passed away in 2000.
Born in Coaldale PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Veronica (Mihalko) Pazmanski. She worked as a seamstress and a homemaker. Margaret was also a veteran of WWII, serving as a corporal in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Margaret had retired with her husband Matthew to the New Columbus section of Nesquehoning, and for the last six years has resided with her daughter Nancy Bradis in Cherry Hill NJ. She was a member of Christ Our Light Roman Catholic Church in Cherry Hill NJ, and while she resided in Nesquehoning was a member of ST. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Nesquehoning. She was a member of the Nesquehoning American Legion. Surviving are daughters Nancy, wife of John Bradis of Cherry Hill NJ, with whom she resided, and Rosemary, wife of Nicholas Potere of Penacook NH, and a granddaughter Rachel Bradis. She was preceded in death by a son Frank Petrucci, a brother Joseph Pazmanski and a sister Pauline Beshak.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 15 at 1:30 p.m. from the Bruce A. Nalesnik Funeral Home, 57 West Center St. Nesquehoning, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Nesquehoning with Rev. William Bechtel officiating. Interment will be at Sky-View Memorial Park in Hometown PA, with Military Graveside Services being provided. A calling hour will be held on Friday afternoon from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association C/O the Funeral Home.
