Mary A. Yurick, (McHugh) 82, of Mahoning Twp. Lehighton, formerly a longtime resident of Lansford, entered into eternal rest on Sunday at Blue Mountain Health System, Lehighton. She was the wife of the late Stephen W. Yurick, who had died in 2015.   Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late James and Clara (Young) McHugh. She was a Registered Nurse, attending and graduating from the Atlantic City Hospital School of Nursing and then worked her entire career at Blue Mountain Health Systems – Lehighton, for almost 40 years, working in various departments over the years including the O.R., before retiring and then moving to Lehighton with Stephen.  She was of the Roman Catholic Faith and was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church in Lehighton.  Surviving is a son William J. at home, a daughter Claire, wife of Joe Sieck of Auburn PA, brothers James McHugh of Weatherly and Cornelius McHugh of Lehighton, and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Charles McHugh and sisters Dolores Muzykowski and Kathleen Gulla.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 26th  with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 260 North Third St. Lehighton PA, with the Rev. Michael E. Ahrensfield Officiating. Interment will be held at SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery in Lehighton.  Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Bruce A. Nalesnik Funeral Home, 57 West Center St., Nesquehoning PA 18240.
