Michael J. Hotsko, 79, of Nesquehoning, died on March 24th, 2025 at his Nesquehoning residence.  Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late John and Rose (Petrash) Hostsko.  Michael had a long and storied career in the United States Navy, retiring as a Master Chief Petty Officer in the Aviation Electronics field and did quite a few years of sea duty. Upon retiring from the Navy, he returned back to Nesquehoning, where he enjoyed sitting on his front porch and conversing with the passersby.   Surviving is a stepbrother Rudolph Balas of Lansford.  Services and interment for Michael will be private.
