December 6, 1934 – October 27, 2025
Robert W. Toth Sr., 90, of Orefield, formerly of Nesquehoning and Lansford, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 27th in Northampton. Born in the Mary D section of Schuylkill Township, he was the son of the late Stephen and Anna (Kazakavage) Toth. He worked for many years for Blue Ridge Communications, starting first as a lineman and then was the Manager of their Lansford Office before retiring. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, serving as an Instrument Specialist for the 4050th Air Refueling Wing. Robert enjoyed gardening, cooking, polkas, picking mushrooms, and enjoying a shot and a beer with friends and family, watching football, especially Penn State. He lived a quiet life at his pace and always had a big smile for everyone. He will be deeply missed.
Surviving are sons Robert W. Toth Jr. and wife Christina of Orefield, Craig Toth of Nesquehoning, Kevin Toth of Slatington, grandchildren Ashley Morrison and husband Matthew of Orefield, Kayla Toth of Lehighton, Cassie Reed of Macungie, Olivia Toth of Slatington, great grandchildren Liam Morrison, Ellie Morrison, Callum Morrison, Halien Toth, Harper Toth, Matthew Reed and former wife Theresa (Kunzweiler) Toth of Nesquehoning. He was pre-deceased by a brother Stephen Toth, a sister Dorothy Ross and longtime companion Aggie Skillan.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 4th with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 307 Pine St., Tamaqua PA. Interment with Military Honors to follow at Saint Bertha Cemetery, Tuscarora. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Robert's life during a visitation at the church from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.nalesnikfh.com.
