Allen O.Hernan, 90, of Summit Hill PA, entered into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family on April 17th in Summit Hill. He was the husband of Emily N. (Herbert) Herman, and they would have been married for 70 years this June. Born in Camden NJ, he was a son of the late William and Mae (Long) Herman, He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant. He worked as an auto mechanic foreman at Reedman Toll Auto Group in Langhorne PA for 25 years. He was of the Methodist Faith and enjoyed playing pool and fishing, whether it be fresh or saltwater. He will be sorely missed.
Surviving in addition to his wife Emily are daughters Linda Hydro of Summit Hill PA, June Smick and husband Ron of Hainesport NJ, a.brother Alvin Herman of Delran NJ, four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a son Allen Jr., brothers Billy Herman, Vernon Herman, Harry Herman, Dennis Herman, sisters Florence, Dorothy, Alice, Marie, Phyllis, and a grandson Les.
