Concetta T. (DeMichael) Gasker, 96, of Baltimore, formerly of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 9th in Baltimore. She was the wife of the late Max E. Gasker, who passed away in 2013. Born in the New Columbus section of Nesquehoning, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Theresa (Maradeo) DeMichael. She was of the Roman Catholic and was a member of ST. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church in Edgemere MD.
Surviving are sons Harry Gasker and wife Debbie of Nesquehoning, Frank Gasker of Burkesville KY and Max Gasker and wife Melissa of Baltimore, a daughter Theresa Gasker of Baltimore, eight (8) Grandchildren, twelve (12) Great-Grandchildren and 2 (two) Great-Great-Grandchildren, and a sister-in-law Gloria Remmel of Jim Thorpe. She was pre-deceased by brothers Anthony DeMichael and Michael DeMichael, a sister Bridgette Cannariato and a grandson Michael Gasker.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 13th with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the Shrine of Saint Therese of Lisieux in the New Columbus section of Nesquehoning. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in the New Columbus section of Nesquehoning. A calling hour will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the Bruce A. Nalesnik Funeral Home, 57 West Center St., Nesquehoning PA 18240. Contributions may be made to the Shrine of Saint Therese of Lisieux c/o the Funeral Home.
