Debra A. Boyle, 70, of Jim Thorpe, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Jim Thorpe. She was the wife of Joseph J. Boyle and had been married for 26 years. Born in Jim Thorpe, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Ruth (Heintzelman) Reed. She worked as a C. N A. for Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Debra enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and taking trips with them. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, walking and her prayer group. She will be dearly missed.
Surviving in addition her husband Joseph are sons Robert Gruber Jr. of Jim Thorpe, Michael Gruber and Fiancé Amy Evanish, also of Jim Thorpe, a daughter Tammy Gruber and husband Bradley Ball of Mishoppen PA, grandchildren Blakely Ball, Blaize Ball, Allicea Gruber, Alyssa Gruber, Emmalyn Gruber, Kristopher Gruber and wife Catie, Samantha Gruber, Rachel Gruber and Cooper Kresge. She was pre-deceased by a brother Dennis Reed and a sister Jamie Reed.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, February 25th at 3:00 p.m. at Christ United Church of Christ at 4th and Center Sts., Jim Thorpe, with the Rev. Wayne Benack officiating. A calling hour will precede services from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Carbon County Animal Shelter, 63 West Broad St., Nesquehoning PA 18240. Online condolences may be expressed at www.nalesnikfh.com.
