Obituary

Josephine R. Lauchnor, 89, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 17, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Leonard L. Lauchnor, and had been married for 71 years.  Born in Nesquehoning, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna Sparich.   She worked for 50 years for the former Kai-jay pants co.  in Nesquehoning.  Josephine was of the Roman Catholic faith and was a longtime member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Nesquehoning.  Surviving is a daughter Deborah Sniscak and husband John of Hudsondale PA.  She was pre-deceased by brothers Nick, Joe, Anthony, Sal, half-brothers Phillip, Sam and Mickey, and sisters Mary Bushta, Anna McLean and Rose Gasper.  Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, July 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown PA.  Contributions may be made to the Carbon County Animal Shelter c/o the Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.nalesnikfh.com.  Services and arrangements have been placed in the care of the Bruce A.
