Obituary
Joyce A. Pecha, 93, of Nesquehoning died September 7, 2022 . Joyce was the loving wife of the late John Pecha. They were married for 53 years before John passed. Born on August 17, 1929, she was the daughter of the late David and Ida (Smith) Kleintop. Joyce worked over 40 years in sewing factories in Nesquehoning. She loved family, Nascar racing, gardening and baking.
Surviving is a son John S. Pecha and wife Rose Ann of Nesquehoning, granddaughter Victoria McKelvie and husband James, her great-grandchildren Tyler and Mackenzie Thomas, Selina Pecha and a sister Debute Tracey.
Joyce was predeceased by a grandson Jeffrey Pecha and brothers Leon, Alavasta, George, Russell, Paul and Ralph Kleintop and a sister Irene Frank.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10th at St. John’s Slovak Lutheran Church, One East Abbott St., Lansford PA, with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Marjorie Keiter Officiating. Interment to follow at Sky-View Memorial Park in Hometown PA. Online condolences may be expressed at www.nalesnikfh.com. The family asks that masks be utilized inside the church for everyone’s health and safety. Services and arrangements have been placed in the care of the Bruce A. Nalesnik Funeral Home, 57 West Center St., Nesquehoning PA.
