Kathryn A. (Harahuess) Yurchak

Kathryn A. Yurchak, 93, of Paulsboro NJ, formerly of Coaldale PA, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family in Franklinville NJ.  She was the wife of the late Stephan Yurchak, who preceded her in death in 1978.  Born in Coaldale PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Horochak) Haraheuss.  Kathryn grew up in Coaldale, and moved to Paulsboro NJ in 1956 where she lived the rest of her life.  While in Coaldale she was a member of ST. Mary’s Orthodox Church, also located in Coaldale.  Kathryn loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed playing bingo and making pierogis. 

Surviving is a son Stephan A. Yurchak Sr. and wife Michelle of Franklinville NJ, a daughter Kathy Centola and husband Phil of Surprise AZ, a brother Gary Harahuess and wife Mary of Cranberry NJ a sister Helen Yurchak and husband George of Arlington VA, grandchildren Shannon Southard and husband Jim, Stephan A. Yurchak Jr. and wife Kelly, Jason Yurchak and Danielle Yurchak, great grandchildren Brock, Ryley, Charlotte and Brooke.  She was predeceased by a sister Justine Yurchak.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 6th at 11:00 a.m. from the Bruce A. Nalesnik Funeral Home, 57 West Center St. Nesquehoning PA 18240, with the Rev. James Weremedic of St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, Coaldale, officiating.  Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Orthodox Cemetery in Summit Hill.A calling hour will be held on Friday morning from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.  In accordance with CDC precautions for the public concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, masks will be required while inside the funeral home and social distancing guidelines will be observed.  Funeral arrangements are being provided by the Bruce A.
