Stephen M. Smolar

Stephen M. Smolar, 48, of New Ringgold PA, entered into eternal rest on Sunday June 6, 2021 at his residence.  Born in Coaldale, he was a son Denise “Cookie” (Nalesnik) Smolar and the late Stephen H. Smolar.  He was self-employed as a plumber and was a 1990 graduate of Tamaqua High School.   

Surviving in addition to his mother is a companion Kim Focht,  sons Stephen H. Smolar of Lebanon PA and Dylan Smolar of Tamaqua PA, sisters Stacey Hill and husband Bill of New Ringgold, Tracey Taras and husband Greg of Tamaqua and Corey Smolar and companion Frank Boslet Jr. of New Ringgold, niece Cassidy Taras, nephews Nikolas Smith and wife Sabrina, Anthony Hill,  Roger Taras, Andrew Taras, Samuel Smolar, Donovan Smolar, Nevin Hoblen, and Dominic Weider, and Joe Matukonis, companion of Stephen's mother Denise. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 12th at 6:30 p.m. at the Bruce A. Nalesnik Funeral Home, 57 West Center St., Nesquehoning PA with the Rev. Marjorie Keiter Officiating.  Interment will be private.  Calling hours will be held on Saturday evening  from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.nalesnikfh.com  Services and arrangements by the Bruce A.
